Fountain City Ultras (FCU) is an independent supporters group of Sporting Kansas City (SKC.) Located in the M7 Section of the Supporters Terrace, FCU provides fanatical support on match days.
Inspired by Antifascist/Antiracist Ultras Groups from all over the world, FCU looks to incorporate those principals and values while also bringing their own traditions and culture to Sporting KC. Fountain City Ultras are staunch antifascist/antiracist/antihomophobic and oppose all forms of bigotry and discrimination.
Formed in 2012 by a small group of like-minded friends from the local punk/skinhead scene, FCU has grown into something more with members composed of all races, genders, creeds and affiliations. FCU considers every member family and shares a close bond. Fountain City Ultras have no president or leaders and are anti-authoritarian. All that is asked of its members is that they support the club full 90 no matter the results, is active in making their community a better place, and is willing to take a stance against hate and intolerance.
Support Local. Passion over Numbers. These are some of the common mottos of FCU. Whether ten or one hundred FCU is dedicated in instilling the same fanatical diehard passion each and every match day. The main objective of FCU is to support local and to be a positive presence not only on the terrace but in the community. FCU works with multiple local and national charitable organizations.
Independence and self determination are key fundamental ideals both on and off the terraces. Whether dealing with their club’s front office or in politics, FCU always support the independence and sovereignty of people to choose for themselves and organize how they see fit. FCU will always continue to stand in solidarity with all people’s struggling for their right for self determination.
