The White-Red South Guard (official name of supporters of santafe)
Known for being the first “Barra Brava” in Colombia, it’s the official fan group of the football club Independiente Santa Fe.
Born in 1991 under the name “Saltarines” (Jumpers). Initially the group used to attend to the East stand of the Stadium, but later they will attend to the South Stand, for this the name White-Red South Guard.
The main objective of the group is to cheer up the team in every moment in spite of the results and to stand out the City´s Identity. For this, the Guard always follows the team to every city where the team plays and do some other kind of acts and demonstrations using giant flags and making different choreographies using plastic squares, flares and other kinds of pyro.
The Guard also has it own headquarters where they do all the reunions, sell clothes and do different activities like MMA and Boxing trainings.
Today the Guard is one of the most respected organized fan groups in Colombia and Latin-America for its great “choreos” and multitudinal journeys in and outside Colombia.
